All earthworms on earth can compost organic matter. However, Eisenia fetida, Dendrobaena veneta, Lumbricucus rubellus, Eudrilus eugeniae, Perionyx excavatus and Perionyx hawayana species are much faster than others.
They are preferred because they consume nutrients, have higher reproduction and population growth rates, can easily adapt to very different climatic and environmental conditions, and therefore have a high survival rate. Esenia fetida type earthworms, which have the highest yield and fertilizer quality among the species listed in our work, are reproduced under healthy conditions by fulfilling all ecological demands of the species. Worms are supplied to all entrepreneurs who want to operate in this sector and produce fertilizers and those who want to produce for hobby purposes.
